Woofun AI reports that XRP AI agents executed a strategic pivot toward the native token, driving a 77% surge in transactions while RLUSD usage contracted by 32%.
This shift coincided with a massive volume spike for ClawBank, which processed nearly 90% of its historical activity in a single day, favoring XRP for automated payments due to lower fees and faster processing times. Key entities involved include t.54, Heurist Mesh, and LucyOS.
The magnitude of this activity is evident in the 24-hour data, where ClawBank’s 67 connected services recorded 7,630 transactions. This daily volume represents a significant portion of the protocol’s total history, as the project had previously completed only 8,469 operations. Consequently, the system generated nearly 90% of its cumulative activity in one day, selecting the network’s native asset for the settlement of most operations. The 77% increase in XRP agent transactions contrasts sharply with the 32% drop in RLUSD volume.
Structurally, the x402 protocol enables artificial intelligence entities to perform automated payments autonomously. These systems choose between XRP and RLUSD when paying for data usage or renting computing power. Per Woofun AI, the data shows that during periods of high network congestion, software systems prioritize the native currency. This preference is driven by the structure of low fixed fees and superior transaction processing times associated with XRP.
The broader artificial intelligence economy on the XRP Ledger has accumulated more than one million total transactions. The decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) platform Heurist Mesh leads this sector with 405,492 transactions dedicated to providing graphics processing unit (GPU) capacity for neural networks. In second place, the operating system LucyOS registers 359,839 transactions focused on high-frequency trading. These two platforms account for the majority of the operational volume.
The operational shift toward the native token aligns with an acceleration in the automated data economy. Algorithmic parameters demonstrate a technical preference for the cost and speed conditions of the primary asset in high daily demand scenarios. Monitoring the next settlement cycles of Heurist Mesh and LucyOS will determine whether the rotation trend from RLUSD remains structurally consistent.
