Major cloud providers hold 3 weeks of inventory against a 7-week norm, while channel inventory sits at 5 weeks compared to the typical 15 weeks. This scarcity limits spot market releases and reduces the risk of channel dumping, even as consumer demand shows signs of weakening.
DRAM inventory mirrors this tightness, with supplier stock at 2.7 weeks versus a 5-week normal. Cloud vendor DRAM inventory is 2.5 weeks, below the 7-week benchmark, and channel inventory is 4 weeks against a 15-week standard.
