Woofun AI reports that Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana funds experienced divergent flow dynamics during a recent market rebound, with BlackRock and Farside tracking the underlying data. The surge was anchored by Bitcoin's dominance, while Ethereum participated significantly and Solana underperformed relative to its baseline.
The total inflow reached $1.3 billion over three sessions, with Bitcoin capturing 77% of the volume. Daily Bitcoin inflows averaged $334.7 million, roughly 4.1 times the $81.0 million historical daily average displayed by Farside. BlackRock's IBIT contributed $588.5 million over Aug. 17-19, while Fidelity's FBTC added $198.2 million. ARK 21Shares' ARKB supplied $111.6 million across the three sessions, including $77.7 million on Aug. 19. Ethereum averaged about $96.4 million per day, roughly 4.3 times its displayed $22.6 million average. BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) led Ethereum with $212.7 million over the three sessions.
Solana averaged about $1.4 million, roughly 24% of its displayed $5.6 million average. Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) supplied $7.2 million across Aug. 18-19, partly offset by a $3.1 million Grayscale Solana Trust ETF outflow on Aug. 19. Per Woofun AI, the comparison has an important limit: the tables track different numbers of products and do not provide aggregate category assets under management. They also may not capture the entire US crypto ETP universe. Morgan Stanley, for example, launched its Ethereum Trust and Solana Trust on July 28, although neither product currently appears in Farside's corresponding flow tables.
The historical-average comparison is therefore a rough check on each group's pace rather than a full AUM-adjusted demand measure. Across the three sessions, both Bitcoin and Ethereum accelerated sharply relative to their historical daily averages, while Solana remained below its own. This marks a clear divergence in institutional capital allocation among the top three digital assets.
