Woofun AI reports that tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) on Robinhood Chain, the proprietary blockchain of U.S. stock and crypto trading app Robinhood (Nasdaq: HOOD), achieved a record-breaking volume milestone, with stock tokens identified as the primary driver.
Monitored by Woofun AI, the daily RWA volume reached $85.1 million on Aug. 25, . Stock token trading accounted for the vast majority of this total, generating $66 million in activity.
Structurally, the market composition has shifted significantly since the mainnet launch in late July. While pair trading involving memecoins and stock tokens previously comprised over half of RWA volume, that share fell to 12% by August, whereas standalone stock token trading rose to 78%. This transition reflects users treating tokenized stocks as investment products rather than speculative instruments, leveraging fractional shares, lower fees, and faster settlement.
The broader implications for tokenization trends suggest that equities, bonds, and real estate are gaining traction among both institutional and retail participants. This move from speculation to utility provides Robinhood with a competitive edge in the expanding RWA space, marking a pivotal step toward mainstream financial integration.
