Woofun AI reports that Intel entered a robust recovery trajectory following its second-quarter 2026 earnings announcement on July 23, with CEO Pat Gelsinger and CFO David Zinsner highlighting a structural shift in market dynamics. In the Chinese market, server CPU products have experienced month-on-month price increases exceeding 10%, with cumulative gains surpassing 40% since the beginning of 2026.
Foreign media reports indicate that both Intel and AMD are negotiating long-term agreements with Chinese server customers, focusing on volume commitments rather than fixed prices, with some contracts extending over two years. Intel disclosed that it has finalized 10 such long-term agreements, acknowledging that customer demand has exceeded current production capacity, thereby constraining supply. He also confirmed that the most advanced 14A process is on track for development, with mass production expected to begin in 2028.
