Woofun AI reports that Bybit has integrated six tokenized equities—including Nvidia, Apple, Tesla, Robinhood, Circle, and Alphabet—into its collateral framework for margin trading and loans, a strategic shift facilitated by its partnership with Backed.
The integration extends to the Unified Trading Account, Crypto Loans, and Institutional Loans, allowing eligible users to leverage these assets. This follows the June launch of xStocks, which listed over 60 US stocks and exchange-traded funds on the spot market.
Structurally, these digital assets are backed 1:1 by underlying securities held by a regulated custodian, ensuring parity with traditional holdings.
Competitor adoption is accelerating across the industry. Kraken, set to acquire Backed in late 2025, began accepting select tokenized stocks for futures and margin trading earlier this month. Per Woofun AI, Bitget also supports tokenized stocks as collateral, having introduced the feature for futures margin in June before expanding it to crypto loans in July.
Market data illustrates the sector's explosive expansion. RWA.xyz figures show the total distributed value of tokenized equities surged from roughly $361 million in late July 2025 to about $1.72 billion today. This trajectory confirms institutional confidence in blockchain-based equity infrastructure.
