Woofun AI reports that HIVE has entered a strategic partnership with BUZZ to deploy artificial intelligence infrastructure, anchoring a $350 million deal that hinges on complex capital requirements.
The technical scope involves installing 2,016 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs within GB300 NVL72 systems at the Bell AI Fabric facility in Merritt, British Columbia. Deployment is scheduled for calendar Q4 2026, requiring precise coordination of hardware and service warranties.
Structurally, the buildout demands significant upfront capital before any operational revenue can be realized.
Woofun AI data shows the total project cost is estimated at $185 million, while the customer has committed an upfront deposit of roughly $35 million, representing 10% of the contract value. This leaves a substantial funding gap that HIVE must bridge using existing financing and additional equipment funding. The company has not disclosed the availability of current proceeds or the closing status of new financing terms.
This agreement boosts BUZZ's reported annual recurring revenue to approximately $180 million, though only $35 million is currently active. HIVE defines ARR as annualized weekly, daily or quarterly revenue, warning that projections may not account for future cancellations, discounts, or service reductions. The economic viability of this pipeline now depends entirely on execution and securing capital by year-end.
