Woofun AI reports that POSCO International has expanded its tokenization strategy to the Avalanche network, completing a transaction with Olea and Intain just one month after a similar pilot on Injective.
The technical execution, announced Tuesday, leveraged artificial intelligence to reconcile invoices, purchase orders, credit notes, and shipping documents. Intain then verified and recorded these receivables on its Layer-1 network built on Avalanche (AVAX), creating a shared ledger to streamline ownership records and accelerate financing access compared to traditional fragmented reconciliation processes.
Woofun AI data shows that this initiative builds on a pilot announced last month with LG CNS to issue and settle tokenized receivables on Injective using live trade data. POSCO International, which operates over 80 overseas branches and generated $22.2 billion in revenue from steel, energy, and battery materials, is testing blockchain rails to unlock working capital previously locked in conventional trade finance structures.
The collaboration marks a shift from dominant funds and bonds toward broader real-world asset applications. POSCO, Olea, and Intain plan to explore further use cases, including stablecoin-based cross-border settlement and digital treasury tools, indicating a sustained push for operational efficiency in global trade.
